Our Approach
Gardening connects children with nature as they care for plants and learn about growth, responsibility and where food comes from.
Children need to develop large motor and small motor skills and cardiovascular endurance. Extensive physical activity is also needed to address a growing problem of obesity in American children.
Our arts program encourages children to express themselves through creative experiences that build confidence, imagination and pride in their work.
Excursions extend learning beyond the centre, giving children opportunities to explore their community and build confidence through real-world experiences.
Outdoor learning encourages exploration, movement and connection with nature, supporting children’s physical development and growing confidence.
Math is explored through play and daily routines, helping children develop early numeracy skills such as counting, sorting and problem-solving.
Literacy is embedded into everyday experiences through stories, conversation and play, supporting children to develop communication skills and a love of language.
